Nature of our service

Prime Dump provides temporary roll-off dumpster rentals for residential, commercial and construction projects across Cape Cod, Massachusetts — dumpster delivery, placement, pickup and the disposal of approved non-hazardous materials — together with junk removal. Depending on availability, project scope and location, we may provide the rental directly or connect you with an independent local dumpster rental provider ("Service Provider") able to fulfil the request. When you request a quote, call us or submit information through the website, your information may be shared with one or more Service Providers capable of handling your project. We do not operate disposal facilities or transfer stations. Each Service Provider operates independently and is solely responsible for its own pricing, scheduling, delivery and pickup, customer service, waste disposal practices, licensing and insurance, and performance. All rentals are subject to availability and must comply with applicable local, town and state waste management rules in Massachusetts.

Acceptance of terms

By using this website or contacting us by phone, email, text or online form, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have authority to request dumpster rental services for the property involved, and that you agree to these terms. You agree to use the website lawfully: you may not upload or transmit unlawful, harmful or misleading content, attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data, or disrupt the functionality, security or availability of the website, and we may restrict access or remove content that breaks these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

No guarantee of service

We work to provide dependable dumpster rental, but we do not guarantee dumpster availability at all times or in all locations; delivery and completion times are estimates and are not guaranteed; pricing and rental terms may vary with the project, the provider and the location; and weather, traffic, road restrictions, facility restrictions or local rules may affect scheduling. Same-day and next-day delivery depend on availability. Where a Service Provider handles your rental, the work is performed by that provider, any agreement about the rental is made directly between you and that provider, and we are not responsible for scheduling conflicts, service interruptions, delivery delays, missed appointments or disputes arising from it.

Information collection and sharing

When you request a quote, submit a form, call or text our number or book a service, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, placement instructions, project details and dumpster rental requirements. You agree to provide accurate information. This information is used to provide service and is shared only with those who need it to fulfil your request, such as a payment processor or a relevant Service Provider. Booking, payments and pricing

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and vary with the dumpster size, the rental duration, the type and weight of the debris, the placement requirements and any additional rental days, pickups or swaps. Please review your quote before booking. Our flat-rate pricing includes delivery, pickup and disposal within the stated weight limit; additional charges may apply for excess weight, extended rental periods or prohibited materials. We are not responsible for charges caused by overloaded containers, prohibited materials, extended rental periods or inaccessible delivery locations. We accept major credit cards, electronic payments and approved business checks; payment in full or a deposit may be required before delivery, and failed or late payments may delay service or result in cancellation. Prime Dump handles pricing for the services we provide directly. Where a Service Provider handles the rental, payment may be processed directly between you and that provider, and quotes, billing, refunds, extensions, cancellation fees and any overage charges are between you and that provider; we are not responsible for that provider's pricing discrepancies, billing disputes, refund requests or overage fees.

Cancellations and refunds

For rentals we provide directly, orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund. Same-day cancellations, missed deliveries or inaccessible delivery sites may result in service fees to cover operational costs. Approved refunds are typically processed within three to five business days.

Rental periods and extensions

Standard rental periods are typically up to seven days unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking, and your quote states the period for your size. Extensions are available on request and may be subject to daily or weekly fees. Please contact us before the rental period ends to arrange pickup or an extension and avoid additional charges, and call or text when you finish so we can schedule pickup.

Use of the container

You agree to use the dumpster safely and in compliance with all local and state rules. You are responsible for providing a safe, accessible placement area on a flat, solid surface, with clear access for the truck and clear overhead space; for keeping all debris level with or below the top edge — overfilled containers cannot be transported; for keeping clear access for pickup; and for keeping prohibited materials out. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, hazardous waste such as paint, oil, solvents, chemicals and asbestos; electronics, batteries and fluorescent bulbs; propane tanks, fuel containers and pressurized cylinders; tires; and medical waste. Materials Massachusetts bans from disposal (310 CMR 19.017) — including mattresses and box springs, textiles, large appliances, picture-tube TVs and monitors, recyclable paper, cardboard and containers, and leaves and yard waste mixed with trash — may not be placed in a general debris container. Hot coals, cinders and oily rags may not be deposited in a container (527 CMR 1.00, § 19.3.1). Improper use may result in additional disposal fees or termination of service, and you are responsible for issues caused by blocked or overloaded containers.

Property and placement

We take reasonable care during placement to minimize potential surface damage, and protective boards can be used beneath the container on request. Unless protective measures were specifically requested before delivery, you accept responsibility for any damage to driveways, lawns, curbs or paved surfaces. We recommend placing plywood or protective boards under the contact points when the container sits on concrete, asphalt or pavers. Do not move the container after placement; contact us if it needs relocating.

Permits and local compliance

Under the Massachusetts fire code, a rubbish container over 6 cubic yards needs a permit from the head of the local fire department unless it is delivered and removed in the same business day (527 CMR 1.00, Table 1.12.8.5), and in some towns, such as Falmouth, the property or building owner, lessee or generator obtains it. Dumpsters may not be placed on public streets, sidewalks or other public property without the permits or approvals the applicable Cape Cod town requires, and state law bars any obstruction on a state highway without MassDOT's written permit (M.G.L. c.81 §21), so containers are not placed on state highway right-of-way. If your dumpster will be placed on a street or other public property, you are responsible for securing any required permit from the appropriate town or local authority, and for following HOA requirements. We can offer general guidance on permit requirements, but final responsibility for compliance remains with the customer.

Service provider responsibility

When a Service Provider is involved, it operates as an independent business or contractor and is responsible for maintaining proper licenses and insurance; following local, state and federal rules; safe delivery and pickup of the container; proper waste disposal; job-site safety and operational compliance; and obtaining necessary permits when applicable. Prime Dump does not supervise or control the daily operations of independent providers and is not liable for their conduct, actions, scheduling or performance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prime Dump, its owners, affiliates, employees and partners are not liable for damages, injuries or losses resulting from improper loading or use of a container; failure to obtain required permits; weather conditions, road restrictions or unforeseen delays; customer negligence during the rental period; services provided by third parties or disputes involving them; or errors or inaccuracies in the content of this website. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages related to the use of our website or services, and our total liability does not exceed the amount paid for the specific rental service giving rise to the claim. Customers are encouraged to review their own insurance coverage before renting equipment.

No warranties

The website, referrals and our services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including about the quality of services provided by third-party companies, the availability of dumpster rental services, the accuracy of pricing information, website functionality or uninterrupted access, or the suitability of any service for a specific purpose. Please verify service details before you book.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prime Dump, its owners, employees, affiliates and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, expenses or legal fees arising from your use of this website or our services, your use of referral services or agreements with Service Providers, improper use of a rented container, disposal of prohibited materials, violations of local or state rules, or a breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on capecoddumpsterrentals.com, including text, graphics, images and logos, belongs to Prime Dump and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Reproduction or commercial use of any of it without our written permission is prohibited.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute arising under them is resolved in the appropriate state or local courts serving Barnstable County, Massachusetts. We may update these terms at any time; updates are posted on this page, and continued use of our website or services after that means you accept the revised terms.
